Historic Hilton Village (continued!)

Hi Everyone,
As I promised in a earlier post, during summer, I went back to explore Hilton Village. This time with my Mom! The scenery had changed but not the charm of this cute little town.

I went back to Indulge bakery and once again they did not disapoint! A seasonal item to their menu, I ordered the Earth n' Turf sandwich: thin slices of steak with strips of bacon and sweet onion jam on a french demi baguette.

One of my favorite antique shops lives in Hilton Village and it's where I get my vintage kimono fabric for crafting! The store it self used to be a house, as most stores in the area once were, but specifically this building was the local hospital. And because it used to be a hospital, almost every room has a sink used durning visits; the original sink!

This crazy steep and narrow staircase!
Another fun store to check out is The Magickal Attic, your local witch and crystal shop. Bonus points, the owner has two adorable dogs, named Miyagi and Pixie. Miyagi always greets the customers and follows you around. Pixie would rather take a nap but she acknowledges you lol.

There is also a theater, I have yet to go see a play but I notice it quite often filled with patrons.

A little bit of history
And lastly, if you care to read, this sign is located on the "main" street (the road really is called main lol).

Thanks for Reading!
